Bridging Voices was founded in response to the September 10th, 2025 shooting of Charlie Kirk, a moment that highlighted the deepening political divides and the rising intensity of polarization in public discourse. The radically different reactions to the incident—from outrage to apathy to joy—revealed how fractured conversations around politics have become, and how easy it is to cling to one side of the story.

Troubled by these trends, we launched Bridging Voices to create a space for thoughtful, respectful dialogue, where individuals from across the political spectrum can share their perspectives, listen to one another, and engage in discussions without being attacked. Our goal is to confront polarization head-on, reducing the perceptual distance between opposing viewpoints.
